LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Telin Transportation Group, LLC. My name is Todd Telin, I am the President and along with my wife Linda, the owners of the company. If you were wondering, Telin is an old Finish name and is pronounced "Tell-lean".
The company started as Superior Transit Sales, LLC in 1999, selling the Thomas Built Bus product in Minnesota. In 2005, Minnesota Body and Equipment was purchased, picking up the ElDorado product for Minnesota and western Wisconsin and Supreme StarTrans Commercial Bus product line for Iowa and Nebraska. In 2007 we added the Sprinter Bus product line covering Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. We are quickly becoming the leader in the bus industry in the upper Midwest.
Along with selling the best bus products in their respective categories, we also perform customer vehicle maintenance, contract fleet oversight and maintenance and have an extensive parts department.
I started in the bus business in 1982, spending the first 23 years of my career as the General Manager for a large contractor in the Twin Cities metro area. This gave me a unique perspective as to what a bus purchaser/operator is looking for. I was in your position. We bring our knowledge of the customer expectations to our sales and service business.
To bring you the highest quality of service, we have recruited and built a team of highly trained and experienced personnel. Nearly everyone in our group had automotive experience prior to coming to our company. Many from within the bus industry. So don't be surprised if you see a familiar face.
